BLICK.de published a tattoo photo essay and interview with Tim Dolle in April 2026. Its twelve tattoo-focused photographs show separate pieces across his forearm, chest, arms, finger, abdomen and lower leg; Dolle explains the meaning of several.
Tim Dolle’s memorial forearm tattoo

On Dolle’s right forearm, “Brüder bleiben fürs Leben” means “brothers remain for life.” He said he got the tattoo after a close friend died too young and linked the phrase to “Geschichte,” a song by RAF Camora and Bonez MC that he and his friend both liked.
The small heater tattoo above his ankle

A small heater sits on Dolle’s right leg above the ankle. He told BLICK he has used one for more than 20 years because he often feels cold; the tattoo records a daily habit he associates with comfort and home.
The head key across Tim Dolle’s chest

Dolle calls the chest design a “head key,” after the key from the series Locke & Key. He said it reflects his ability to understand what other people think and feel, and reminds him to use that empathy consciously.
The musical note on his left middle finger

A small, partly hidden musical note sits on Dolle’s left middle finger. He said he makes music and engages with it every day; the note represents a long-standing part of his life, not an occasional interest.
The snake on his left upper arm

The large snake on Dolle’s left upper arm is one of the more visible pieces in the photo essay. He said it stands for strength and watchfulness: staying calm, paying attention and being ready to respond. He distinguished that from pointless aggression.
The word pure across his abdomen

The word “pure” runs across Dolle’s abdomen. He connected it with reaching a point of peace with himself, learning what matters and being honest instead of pretending to be someone else. He said the tattoo gives him calm and stability.
God’s hand and the peace dove on the right forearm

A second photo shows God’s hand and a peace dove beside the memorial lettering, as one connected forearm design. Dolle said the hand and dove represent protection and peace.
The collection in view
The twelve BLICK photos show the tattoos at different scales. The forearm memorial and upper-arm snake take up more space, while the musical note and heater are small. The head key and “pure” sit between them as separate designs; the photographs do not show a continuous sleeve.
Tim Dolle in The 50
Dolle also appears in the reality series The 50. That gives context for how his tattoos appear in cast photos, but it adds no meaning to any individual design.
