Lala Kent’s tattoos are mostly small pieces with personal references. The 801 code points to Salt Lake City, where she grew up. Other designs honor family, while a few changed after Kent reconsidered their lettering or placement.
The 801 tattoo: a hometown number in plain sight
Kent wears the numerals 801 on the front of her left shoulder. Bravo describes it as a nod to her hometown. The dark, compact design is easy to see in sleeveless or open-neck outfits and can disappear under a sleeve.

A second photo from the Vanderpump Rules reunion shows the same shoulder tattoo. It is a straightforward choice: three numbers tied to the place where Kent grew up. At this size, a clear font keeps the digits readable without needing extra decoration.

Small script, family tributes and the choices she revisited
Kent’s smaller designs include white-ink Give Them Lala lettering on her right forearm and Heathen on the back of her left arm. She has said her mother used to call her a little heathen. She has also described a Mom tattoo in her mother’s handwriting, a heart around her nipple and an orca on her rib cage.

In 2025, she added Sosa vertically on her right forearm and interlocking L and A initials above the web of her right thumb. Kent called the second tattoo an impulse decision. The Bravo story used an annotated collage, which doesn’t clearly show either design, so it isn’t treated here as a clean photo of the tattoos.
Other family pieces include Lilly, her dog’s name, on the back of her right ankle and DAD inside a heart on the back of her right arm. Bravo also reports a wave for Ocean and a small O for her daughter, added in 2023.
Some of Kent’s lettering has changed. She first put initials from a former relationship on her inner right arm, then covered them with a lion after she disliked their placement. Later, she changed “Rand” on her upper arm to read bRand New after the relationship ended. She has said she thought the Sosa tattoo might be her last, while joking that people can get hooked on the feeling of being tattooed.
The Bravo years and the person fans see on screen

On Vanderpump Rules, the tattoos show up in passing, as part of ordinary scenes. That steady visibility helps explain why fans recognize them, but it doesn’t say why Kent chose each one. Seen together years later, the designs may look like a planned set; her accounts describe decisions made at different moments, some of them revised.
