Carmelo Hayes’ tattoos range from broad lettering and a crown to a small stack of characters near his wrist. Some designs are easy to see in the ring; others need a closer photo. In WWE Tattooed, Hayes discussed several pieces and the ideas he connects with them.
Crown shoulder tattoo: a Lion King connection

The crown sits high on Hayes’ right arm. It has curved points, a dark lower band and small details inside, with lettering following the shoulder above it. A cross, bead-like loops and a narrow patterned strip fill the surrounding space.
Hayes connects the crown to Simba’s path in The Lion King and the line I Just Can’t Wait to Be King. He said the story means more to him than winning a wrestling title; it reflects how he values himself and the future he’s working toward. The rounded crown is bold on its own, but that explanation makes the placement more personal.
Upper arm lettering tattoo: All Eyes on Me

Beside the crown, All Eyes on Me is written in thick black strokes with pointed ends and sweeping curves. The phrase follows the arm’s curve, so part of it turns out of view in a close photo. Hayes has linked the words to Tupac and to confidence, a connection that fits the phrase’s direct, attention-getting feel.
The number 94 sits nearby, smaller and plainer than the lettering. A strip of repeated triangles adds another texture. These elements share black ink, but their different sizes keep the arm from reading as one solid block.
Eye of Horus shoulder tattoo

On his other shoulder, the Eye of Horus has more open space around it. A long line arcs over the eye; the dark center sits above a curl that ends in a small spiral. Gray shading breaks up the heavier black strokes.
Hayes describes it as a symbol of protection. He has also said the area began with an earlier eye tattoo he wanted to change. A conversation with his artist led to this larger version, giving the design a history that started with a revision rather than a blank patch of skin.
Wrist tattoo: four personal values in Mandarin

The characters on Hayes’ inner wrist sit in a short vertical stack, with bare skin around them. In his interview, he identified the ideas as love, strength, peace and clarity. He said the wording was checked and that he still values the choice he made when he was younger.
It is a quieter piece than the crown and large lettering. The compact placement keeps the writing close to his hand, while the other designs spread across the shoulder and forearm.
Forearm tattoo: lion, clock and flower

On the inside of Hayes’ left forearm, a flower, clock and lion’s face form one tall composition. Dark shading connects the images. Hayes has tied the lion to being a Leo and to strength, the clock to making good use of time, and the flower to an appreciation of life’s beauty.
The lion’s face draws the eye first, with a dark brow and lighter muzzle against the shaded mane. Above it, the clock’s round face interrupts the long vertical shape; the flower adds another curve at the top. From farther away the design reads as a dark section of ink. Up close, the three subjects remain distinct.
Hayes’ collection moves between large public statements and smaller personal reminders. The crown and Tupac phrase take up space, while the wrist writing stays close to the hand. The eye and forearm piece bring different shapes to the mix.
