Ash Stymest’s tattoos include roses and skulls on his arms, a bird on his neck, a skull and crossbones on his hand, and lettering across his lower stomach. The collection moves between open outlines and darker, shaded pieces.
In a 2023 interview with The Untitled Magazine, Stymest said he started getting tattoos at about 14 and had too many to count. In a separate conversation with Marvin, he described getting tattooed by friends who had equipment and mentioned having some pieces removed. The photos show different points in that history, so they don’t establish how every tattoo looks today.
Roses and skull outlines on his upper arm

A broad rose covers the top of Stymest’s left arm, its rounded petals broken up by pointed leaves. Below it, an angular skull has hollow eyes, a long nose opening and a jaw that pulls toward the elbow. A second rose farther down the arm has darker shading.
The flowers and skull share the same stretch of skin without blending together. The outlines stay open in places and darker in others. Stymest hasn’t explained a personal meaning for these images, so the arrangement and contrast are what the photos show.
Skull and crossbones on his hand

A skull and crossbones sits on the back of Stymest’s left hand. Dark sockets and a rounded top give the skull a clear shape; the bones extend toward the edges of the hand. The word MISCHIEF runs across his knuckles, though a bent hand or a ring can hide some letters in a photograph.
His other hand has a bird, echoing the flying bird on his neck. The two hands aren’t a matching pair. Their tattoos are visible when he gestures, even when clothing covers most of his arms.
Eye, teeth and guitar headstock on his right arm

A heavily shaded skull sits near the shoulder of Stymest’s right arm, with a striking eye and teeth extending toward the bottom of the design. Lower down, a guitar headstock runs along the forearm. Its tuning pegs and a folded banner make it easy to recognize; the banner reads Death Before Dishonor.
The eye and teeth form a dense patch above the long, narrow instrument and lettering. Stymest is also a musician, but the photo and interview don’t tie the guitar tattoo to a particular band or performance.
Chest skull, small cross and lower-stomach lettering

On one side of Stymest’s chest, an outlined skull faces sideways beside a diamond-shaped detail and curved ribbon lines. A small cross sits closer to the center. The opposite side has a darker animal-head design. Earlier photographs show different ink in this area, so they capture separate stages rather than one fixed version of his chest.
The word RECKLESS stretches across his lower stomach in tall, narrow letters above the waistband. It sits apart from the chest images, with open skin between the pieces. There’s no need to treat the word as a complete account of his personality.
Flaming skull and roses on his forearm

Long flames rise from a skull on Stymest’s left forearm, curving toward the elbow. The flame outlines leave skin visible between them; roses continue down toward the wrist, where their petals follow the narrowing arm. The shapes shift from sharp points above to rounded flowers below.
The opposite forearm has the guitar banner and smaller designs. A flying bird is also visible on the side of his neck. Roses, skulls and birds recur across the photos, but they aren’t all drawn in the same way. The JaayBatch interview below shows Stymest talking about his career and music.
