Madelyn Cline said in 2023 that she had five or six tattoos, including a heart on her neck and a few finger pieces. Other reported designs include “Tell Me More,” “Promise,” small messages on her limbs and a line from The Cure across her foot.
The little heart at Madelyn Cline’s neck

The small heart sits at the back of Cline’s neck, just below the hairline. Her hair can cover it, while an updo leaves it in view. The placement is clear in close photos, but she hasn’t given the heart a public meaning.
Three close views, one very clean fine-line design

The centered view brings out the fine outline and light shading inside the heart.

From the side, the heart sits close to the hairline. These photos show its shape and placement; they don’t establish what it means to her.
“Tell Me More” runs down her finger

Cline’s “Tell Me More” lettering runs vertically along the inner side of a finger. The narrow, hand-drawn letters are stacked to fit the space. The tattoo is credited to her friend and artist Kate McDuffie, who works as The Ghost Kat. Its wording reads like an open question, though Cline hasn’t described a specific meaning for it.
The decisions behind a small collection
At the 2023 CFDA Awards, Cline said a few of her tattoos were “drunk tattoos” she got with friends. She loves them, but said she wants future hand pieces to look more intentional. That is the clearest account she has given of the contrast between spontaneous choices and the ink she plans next.
Other reported pieces include the small “Promise” tattoo on a finger and short messages across her limbs. A line from The Cure’s 1989 song “The Same Deep Water as You” runs across her foot: “The shallow drowned lose less than the…” It is a more specific musical reference than the heart or finger lettering, and shoes usually keep it out of sight.
Madelyn’s style outside the close-ups

The tattoos are easy to miss in many photos. Her hair can cover the neck heart, the finger lettering needs a close view, and shoes hide the lyric on her foot. The image above is for context; it does not show a tattoo.
Why the small details fit together
The pieces do not form a matching set; their small scale and fine lines give them a loose connection. Cline has said she wants to be more deliberate about what she adds to her hands.
